Zafrul wraps up Budget 2023, highlights bag from Sarawak weavers

Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz in his Budget 2023 closing speech on Friday (Oct 7) urged members of parliament to support the budget.

He highlighted that the bag he used to carry the Budget speech book is the result of Sarawak weavers from Tanoti, a social enterprise and he likened the bag, which was designed based on elements of six ethnic groups in the state, to the fabric of society that made up Malaysia.
