YouTube star Pavithra's husband Sugu charged with possession of weapon

M. Sugu, who is part of YouTube cooking sensation Sugu Pavithra and the husband of S. Pavithra, has been charged with being in possession of a sickle while at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital, Ipoh.

Sugu, 29, pleaded not guilty when the charge, under Section 6(1) of the Corrosive and Explosive Substances and Offensive Weapons Act, was read before Sessions Court judge Mohd Fauzi Mohd Nasir in a Magistrate’s court on Friday (July 24).
