Youth and Sports Ministry allocates RM100mil for three sports funds in 2026

The Youth and Sports Ministry (KBS) has allocated RM100mil for three key sports funds in 2026: the National Sports Trust Fund (KWSN), Sports Matching Grant (GPS), and Community Sports Fund (DSK).

Speaking at a press conference on Friday (Dec 12), Minister Hannah Yeoh said of this amount, RM50mil will be allocated to KWSN, RM30mil for GPS, and RM20mil for DSK.

She added that the KWSN fund is open to individual athletes competing in sports featured in the Olympic Games or other official multi-sport events.
