Yeo: Sungai Kim Kim clean-up is our main priority

Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change Minister Yeo Bee Yin on Thursday said that the Government is focusing all its effort on cleaning up contamination in Sungai Kim Kim in Pasir Gudang, Johor after toxic waste was dumped in the river on March 7.

Yeo said authorities are monitoring air quality as the waste disposed was a volatile organic compound which can be vaporised easily.
