World champions Spain departed the New York/New Jersey Stadium on Sunday (July 19) after beating Argentina 1-0 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final with captain Rodri proudly carrying the trophy.

A more subdued scene played out for Argentina, as Lionel Messi and his teammates boarded their bus and departed the stadium.
