Working towards better water safety awareness

Alliance for Safe Community or Ikatan together with the Butterworth Life Saving and Aquatic Life Support societies recently held its first event on water safety and rescue.

Ikatan chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said these workshops are important as it helps to spread the message on water safety.

He also said it helps to equip more people with knowledge on how to react and prevent drowning.
