Woman's boyfriend beats three-year-old son to death for vomiting on sofa

A woman's boyfriend allegedly killed her three-year-old son by hitting and kicking the child for staining a sofa at his home in Cheng, Melaka on Thursday (July 6).

The 24-year-old woman and her 31-year-old boyfriend were detained on Friday (July 7) to assist in investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder as well as Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001 for causing physical or emotional injuries.
