MCA president and Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has expressed his dismay over a sudden postage hike by Pos Malaysia Bhd.

The hike, which will take effect on Feb 1, will see the postage of commercial mail increase to RM1.30 while non-commercial ones remain at RM0.60.

Dr Wee highlighted the issue during his a Chinese New Year celebration in his constituency on Friday.

He also said the government should tackle the spillover effects of the coronavirus outbreak instead of coming up with unproductive statements.
