Water sample contains solvent-like odour, says Hee

Selangor exco Hee Loy Sian said water sample taken from a sump near a factory close to Sg Rinching was found to have solvent-like odour, which was similar to the odour pollution traced 16km away at the water intake for the Jenderam Hilir raw water pump station.

The pollution caused water disruptions to residents living in five regions in Selangor.
