Water cuts: Illegal factories might be behind the pollution in Sungai Selangor, says Tuan Ibrahim

Environment and Water Minister Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said the authorities suspected that illegal dumping by nearby factories caused the water pollution in Sungai Selangor.

The contamination was detected at 2am on Monday, forcing a stop-work order on the Air Selangor Phase 1, 2, 3 and Rantau Panjang water treatment plants.
