Waste management procedures related to rare earth element (REE) mining must be ironed out before Malaysia ventures into the industry.

Acting Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani told the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Aug 18) that proper and detailed research must first be carried out.
