Vietnamese Doan Thi Huong who was accused of killing Kim Jong-nam has finally reached her hometown, a small town in the province of Nam Dinh in the early hours of Saturday (May 4).

The 30-year-old was charged along with an Indonesian woman with poisoning Jong-nam by smearing his face with liquid VX at the Kuala Lumpur International airport in February 2017.

Malaysian prosecutors dropped a murder charge against Huong last month after she pleaded guilty to an alternative charge of causing harm.
