People of South Korea expressed concern but hoped that the new government would use the additional time wisely to reach better deals, following USA's extension of the deadline until Aug 1 for tariff and trade talks with dozens of nations.

Cambodian workers urged the United States to reduce or remove the 36% reciprocal tariff the US will impose on Cambodian goods once the tariff comes into effect.
