US Navy carrier visit raises hopes for Pattaya businesses and vendors

Thai vendors along Pattaya's neon-lit streets were looking forward to a boost in business as the seaside city welcomes US sailors and Marines.

The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier is docking at the Laem Chabang port nearby on Wednesday (Sept 2), carrying roughly 5,000 personnel who have spent more than 200 days at sea for the US-Iran conflict assignment.
