US and UK confirm trade deal, but steel still a sticking point

Both the United States and United Kingdom signed an agreement on June 16 formally lowering some tariffs on imports from Britain as the countries continue working toward a formal trade deal.
However, steel appears to remain a sticking point. Washington will set a quota for tariff-free imports of the metal from the UK, while other countries face 50% tariffs.
