Undocumented migrants detained at the Immigration depots

When asked to comment on the rounding up operation of undocumented migrants in Masjid India on Labour Day, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the government was not cruel towards them and their welfare was cared for.

He said they were tested for Covid-19 and several NGOs have extended help by giving them food.

He added the undocumented migrants were later taken to the Immigration depot where they will continue to be well cared for.
