Umno: GE should be held once Covid-19 is under control to form a stable government

Umno special Supreme Council's meeting on Thursday (Oct 29) ended without a mention of a speculated a Cabinet reshuffle.

Instead Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in a statement confirmed that all its Cabinet ministers will remain committed to the current administration.

The statement also reiterated that once the Covid-19 had eased and was under control, only then should a general election be held to return the mandate to people to form a stable government.
