Two-minute Genting gold heist: Trio's getaway car traced to Ampang owner

Police are investigating a luxury vehicle believed to have been used by three masked men who robbed a goldsmith at SkyAvenue mall, Genting Highlands, making off with 81 pieces of jewellery worth RM1.74 million on Monday (Aug 17).

Acting Pahang police chief DCP Datuk Azry Akmar Ayob said the vehicle is registered to a man from Ampang, Selangor.

Investigations to track down the trio are ongoing.
