Two hours to read 158 charges: Ex-Ikram member accused of siphoning NGO's funds

A former member of NGO, Pertubuhan Ikram Hulu Selangor, pleaded not guilty on Tuesday (June 16) to 158 charges of abusing his position for gratification totalling more than RM98 million.
The charges against Fakhrudin Abd Karim, 57, took two hours to read out at the Shah Alam Sessions Court in what prosecutors described as a non-bailable offence given the scale of alleged misconduct.
