Tun M should be PM as long as he can, says Annuar Musa

Umno secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa told reporters on Monday that Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad should remain as the Prime Minister as long as he can in order to ensure political and economic stability.

The Ketereh MP added that he was sure Dr Mahathir’s successor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim could wait.

He also said there would be problems if Dr Mahathir was forced to give up his position involuntarily.
