Trump says US will abandon peace talks if Russia, Ukraine make it difficult

US President Donald Trump said on April 18 the US will "take a pass" on trying to resolve the Ukraine-Russia war if either side makes it too difficult to end the conflict, while Kremlin said some progress had already been made but contacts were rather complicated with the US.
