US President Donald Trump says he isn't "chickening out" on international trade disputes after a reporter asked him to respond to Wall Street analysts who have coined the term "TACO" trade, which stands for "Trump always chickens out."

Standing in the Oval Office of the White House, Trump tells the reporter: "Don't ever say what you said. That's a nasty question."
