US President Donald Trump said in an interview broadcast on Tuesday (May 13) that he could see himself dealing directly with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the final details of a US-China trade deal.

Asked about Qatar's offer of a Boeing 747-8 airplane, Trump repeated it would be "stupid" not to accept the gift.
