Transport Ministry to review effectiveness of bus subsidy

Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook on Friday said a review will be conducted to measure the effectiveness of government subsidies given to 165 stage bus companies. Since the government spent more than RM100mil on the programme each year, Loke said the bus routes must really serve the people.
