Transport Ministry focuses on education and advocacy to reduce drink driving

In the Dewan Negara on Thursday, Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said the ministry is not only depending on the law to reduce cases of driving under influence, but it is also focusing on education and advocacy.

The Road Transport (Amendment) Bill 2020 is scheduled to be tabled in the Dewan Negara in the middle of this month. The Bill was passed by Dewan Rakyat on Aug 26.
