Transformation programme lifts market capitalisation of 20 GLCs to RM386bil

The transformation programme for government-linked companies (GLCs) has lifted the market capitalisation of twenty selected GLCs 2.9 times to RM386 billion in ten years, said Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

The Finance Minister said at the launching of the GLC Open Day on Friday (Mar 11), added that the programme also increased the net revenue of GLCs to RM26.2 billion annually, besides giving shareholders a return of 11.1 per cent a year.
