Tram derails in central Milan, killing 2 people and injuring dozens

Two people were killed and 40 others injured after a tram derailed in central Milan on Friday (Feb 27).

The tram, one of the newest models in operation, came off the tracks along Vittorio Veneto street near the city’s Central Station before crashing into a shop window.
