Traffic department to prioritise MyDigital ID users, says Home Minister

Future transactions with the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) will prioritise users registered with MyDigital ID, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
Speaking at the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at Titiwangsa Stadium on Monday (April 21), Saifuddin clarified that registration for MyDigital ID will not be mandatory for now, as it is part of the government’s broader digital transformation agenda.
He also proposed expanding the use of the MyDigital ID platform, especially for processes such as paying traffic summonses.
