Time to give SMART members a raise, says Zahid

The overseas service allowance for the Special Malaysia Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (SMART) should be increased to help ease their financial burden, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The Deputy Prime Minister said the director-general of the National Disaster Management Agency has been tasked with re-evaluating the amount.
