While Loh Kean Yew stunned the badminton world by becoming the first Singaporean to win the World Championships, he is quick to say it was not a lone effort. The nominee for the Straits Times’ Singaporean of the Year award says the best advice he ever received was that, 'it takes a village to build a champion.'
