The Selangor state-level Ponggal celebration held at Padang Ladang Sungai Sedu, Banting, Kuala Langat on Monday (Jan 15) night was lively with the presence of more than 1,000 people.

During his speech, Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the celebration of various festivals at the state level signifies the respect and togetherness of the state government's administration and the people of various races in Selangor.
