The day has come for Tokyo investors to celebrate as Nikkei hits record high

About 20 Japanese investors flocked to a small networking bar in central Tokyo to toast Nikkei hitting a record high for the first time in more than 34 years on Thursday (Feb 22). The stock market closed at 39,098.68, about 2.19% higher than that of the previous record of 38,915.87.
