The soldier who gunned down 27 people in Thailand’s Korat city carried out the rampage over a "personal problem" with his commander, said Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-Ocha on Sunday.

Prayut said the gunman's motive was linked to the sale of a house that he had brokered with his commander. He killed the commander before going on a rampage at the Terminal 21 shopping mall.
