Thai families are keeping cool in the scorching hot weather by swimming at the Kwae Noi Dam in Phitsanulok.
The dam has become a new recreational area for the public, with families enjoying picnics near the dam, swimming in the water or playing with inflatable rafts.
The dam releases water daily which is said to help preserve the environment and the area’s ecological system.
It recently released some 5.18mil cubic metres of water to help farmers, in accordance with the Royal Irrigation Department.
