Tengku Zafrul: Govt does not interfere in OPR decisions

Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz says the government does not intervene in decisions on the overnight policy rate (OPR), which is determined by Bank Negara Malaysia’s monetary policy committee.

He spoke to reporters after officiating the Entrepreneurs and Cooperatives Development Ministry’s 2022 Entrepreneurs and Cooperatives Tour Programme in Kuala Selangor on Saturday (Sept 17).
