Tehran crowds burn Trump banner after Republicans lose midterms

Tehran residents burned a giant banner of US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance at Enghelab Square on Wednesday (Nov 4), after Republicans’ midterm loss.

The banner burning took place during a state-organised rally commemorating the student takeover of the US embassy in Tehran during the 1979 Islamic revolution.
