Technician dies after falling into elevator shaft at Cheras mall

A 32-year-old lift technician fell to his death while working on a lift at a shopping mall in Cheras on Saturday morning.

CCTV footage showed the victim fell after stepping over a waste bin that was used to get down from the floor of the main lift.
