Taxi drivers stood by me in 1998, says Anwar

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says taxi drivers were his most loyal supporters when he was arrested in 1998, so he could not say no to giving them extra help now.

He said at the Transport Ministry on Wednesday (Oct 14), where the first batch of drivers received the RM1,000 one-off aid.
