Tamil speaking Malay kuih-seller Ani Md Derus decided to help out an independent candidate in his campaign trail, in order to help promote harmonious living and unity among all races.

The 51-year-old single mother of five said she wanted to help independent Rembia state seat contestatnt, K. Murali Krishnan by going around promoting his deeds to the locals.
