Taiwan gears up for New Year, heightens security after knife attack

Taipei conducted a security drill on Friday (Dec 26) following last week's fatal stabbing attack in the city centre that killed four people.

The exercise was also part of the government's safety measures ahead of the city’s New Year's Eve fireworks celebration.
