Tahfiz fire: Children's safety is the school's responsibility, says Siti Hasmah

Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, the wife of former Premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, said besides providing education, schools must also take responsibility for the children’s wellbeing during a visit to Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah on Friday. She was briefed on the tragic incident by Wangsa Maju district police chief Supt Mohd Roy Suhaimi Sarif.
