Supervisor charged with assaulting convenience store worker

A 32-year-old man who allegedly assaulted a 7-Eleven employee in Semenyih, Selangor, has claimed trial at a Magistrate's Court to a charge of voluntarily causing grievous hurt.

Construction site supervisor Divagaran Uthaya Sooriyam pleaded not guilty to the charge before Magistrate Nordiyanah Mohd Nawawi on Tuesday, June 27.
