Student who went missing in Tanjung Rhu beach found drowned

A student from the Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology who was believed to have drowned during an outing with his friends at Tanjung Rhu Beach, Langkawi on Saturday has been found.

Langkawi District Police Chief ACP Shariman Ashari said the body of 20-year-old Muhammad Fahmi Hafizi Zulkifli was found some 50 meters from where he went missing.

The body has been handed over to Hospital Sultanah Maliha, Langkawi for an autopsy.
