Student groups hand over memorandum to DPM over UMS student rape case

Pertubuhan Isra Malaysia, together with Demokrat UKM and Demokrat UM, handed over a memorandum to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail in Parliament on Thursday, calling for action over the alleged cover up by Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) on the attempted rape of a female student by a campus security guard last month. UMS has dismissed the claims.
