Storm, catastrophic winds ruin Bukit Rambai families' Raya preparations

The excitement of making final preparations for Hari Raya Aidilfitri turned into heartbreak for 50 families in Bukit Rambai, Melaka after strong winds damaged homes and destroyed festive decorations on Tuesday (March 17).

Klebang assemblyman Datuk Lim Ban Hong said the storm, which struck at 6pm, affected several residential areas including Kampung Gedong Lalang, Seberang Gajah, Taman Bukit Rambai and Rumah Awam Fatimah.
