Stay on and continue your duties, Anwar urges Loke

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged Anthony Loke to remain as Transport Minister and continue his work, despite the DAP secretary-general's resignation offer over the Pardons Board's decision allowing Datuk Seri Najib Razak to serve the remainder of his jail term under house arrest.

Anwar said the country needed principled leaders who cared for the people, adding that corruption, rather than principled disagreements, should be grounds for resignation.
