Four female chefs - newbies Ashley So and Putri Amirza from Mandarin Oriental KL, as well as veteran female chefs - pastry chef Loh Mee Foong from Le Meridien KL, Phoebe Hanson, the executive chef of Aloft KL and Isadora Cha, the chef and owner of Bistro A Table offer tips for succeeding in the difficult F&B industry. Very few female chefs end up staying in the industry, and the drop-out rate in Malaysia is estimated to be around 80%.
