SST to come into effect only in two to three months, says Daim

The chairman of the Council of Eminent Persons, Tun Daim Zainuddin, said on Friday that the reintroduction of the Sales and Services Tax (SST) will come into effect within two to three months. Early this week, the Finance Ministry announced that the Goods and Services Tax will be zero-rated, effective from June 1, 2018.
