Sports Minister orders probe into athlete Danish Irfan’s SEA Games withdrawal

Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh has directed the National Sports Council (MSN) to investigate the recent withdrawal of sprinter Danish Irfan Tamrin from Malaysia’s 4x100m SEA Games squad.

The minister said the move ensures the matter is resolved promptly and that all athlete selections are made professionally and based on merit, and assured that any wrongdoing would be dealt with professionally.
