Spanish King Felipe and Queen Letizia welcomed South Korean President Moon Jae-In and his wife Kim Jung-sook to a state dinner on Tuesday (June 15) as Spain seeks closer economic ties with the Asian country.

As part of his three-day-visit to Spain, Moon is expected to meet with Spanish and South Korean entrepreneurs in Madrid and Barcelona.

This is the first official visit of a foreign leader to Spain since the Covid-19 crisis hit the world last year.
